Day-Date '1803'
Day-Date '1803'
Rolex
Presented here is a Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 in 18k yellow gold. The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 1556.
The reference 1803 is one of the most iconic vintage Day-Date models and was produced from approximately the late 1950s until the late 1970s. It features a 36 mm case in 18k yellow gold, a fluted bezel, and an acrylic crystal.
The 3479XXX serial number dates the watch back to 1973. It features a beautiful champagne dial and comes on a Rolex leather strap with an original Rolex clasp. The combination of the warm yellow gold case, champagne dial, and leather strap gives the watch a very elegant appearance.
Why we love it:
The Day-Date on a leather strap is definitely one of the most underrated Rolex combinations in our view. While most people associate the Day-Date with the iconic President bracelet, we think it looks incredibly classy on leather.
